I've just watched the end of the Marist vs West game in Hokitika (Mark and Ben's team). 24 -15 to Marist. Well done guys. Poor old Ben was too ill to play but I got to see Mark out there doing a good job. I would have been down there earlier if I knew you guys were playing in Hokitika.
ReplyDeleteMake sure you let me know when you are playing in Hokitika. I can try to get out to see you :)
Well today my awesome League team Marist under 14's played against Hokitika. I thought we had it at the start with the score in the first ten minutes being 8-0 to us. But I thought wrong.! They faught back with exellent ball skill and scored some agaist us thus making it 8 all. The second half came quickly and then the cold rain and wind came making it extemelly hard to use your hands properly. Anyway our attack and defence was to strong for the Hokitika side and won the game 30-24. YAYY.!. And I've also got West Coast League practice tomorrow. I hope it's not too chilly.!

Wow! Good on you Michael and what a great report on what happened at your game. I hope it all goes well for you tomorrow at league practice:)
ReplyDeleteI just watched the All Blacks win very well against the Wallabies. Great game.
I played hokey agenst greymouth and we won.I got two goals and at the end it was 7 to 0.
ReplyDeleteMy netball team had a bye so we didn't play on Saturday. Instead I watched Thomas' hockey game against Kowhai. All played very well with one person on his hockey team getting a goal but unfortunately did not count because it wasn't touched in the goal circle. In the end it was 0-0. The West Coast Netball Tournament was cancelled due to wet weather.
ReplyDeleteWell I guess it didn't all go well for League practice today. It was also canceled due to a tropical storm.! Well not really but almost. I was relieved because i didn't have to go out in that horrific weather but also dissapointed because I really wanted to goout to practice.

It certainly hasn't been the best weekend for sport. I am glad I haven't had to go out in this weather and run around a drenched, soggy sports field while having freezing cold rain hosing down on me or swirling around me! I would have been relieved too Michael!
ReplyDeleteI played netball on Saturday and it was really raining. We lost 17-18 but it was a really close match. Our mid-courters were really strong, the shooting was really good and so was the defence. The people in the other team some of them weren't very nice how they were talking to us but we just keeped playing.I was ment to have West Coast Netball in Westport but because of the weather it was cancelled. :)
ReplyDeleteHey I played hockey this weekend.
ReplyDeleteKaroro vs Grey Valley. We wom 3-2.YAY! ! ! ! ! !
