Week 4 Map Work
Share with us a place in the world that you would like to visit and tell something interesting about it! Three places in NZ that start with the letter 'C' and teach us something about one of those places. :)
I want to go to Ontario, Canada because I would like to see the CN Tower which sits betweenthe Skydome and the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. I would also like to see the Nigeria Falls.
Facts: *Ontario is Canada's second largest province. *Ontario is home to 1/3 of Canada's population.

facts: *Cheviot is New Zealand's daffodil capital. *The population as of 2006 was 390.
I chose Guam because my uncle and his girlfriend are going to Guam on holiday later on in the year and I'd never heard of it before

Coromandel town is named after the peninsula, which was named after the HSM Coromandel, which sailed into it's harbour in 1820.

Georgia I would choose to go too Georgia because, I have just heard how much it is a great place and how it is really warm there. * Altlanta is the Capital City of Georgia *Georgia is one of the states in the United States of America *Has of 2009, Atlanta had an estimated population of about 541,000 people. :)

Facts *with nearly 3,000 years of rich history Rome is often called the "eternal city". *Roman coins were used to publicize the emperor.
why i think Rome is interesting is because there is so much history I would love to go there and see it and learn about it.

*America interest me because i think they have funny accents:). *US flag has 50 stars representing the 50 states, and 13 stripes representing the 13 original states. *A Californian doctor has set the record of eating 17 bananas in two minutes.

i want to go to the philipine island because there are alot of children that comes from the philipines and i want to go and see what they do there because i watch there lobo dvds

For my world map work I did Niagra falls I chose this because it is peaceful and big.Niagra falls is one of the biggest water falls in the world.
