Hanmer Springs Camp 2010

In April this year we went on Camp to Hanmer Springs. We stayed at the Forest Camp. Groups participated in cool activities like mountain biking, rock climbing, mission impossible and orienteering. We went to the hot pools every night and everyone had a ride on the jet boat on the last day.

We stopped at Marble Hill on the way to Hanmer Springs and we had lunch for about 30 minutes then we left to Hanmer Springs. It was a lovely hot day and some of the children saw a really awesome native bird that I don't know the name of. Caleb

In this photo we are building a teepee to save us from a fake flood as part of mission impossible but when we let go of it it fell down. We built a teepee so we could tie some logs around the sides of the teepee when the fake flood came . Briana

Rock climbing was really fun and enjoyable. I did great because I was a natural. I beat the guide's time going up. I felt like I was a spider. If you go to Hanmer Springs camp this would be a great experience for you to do too. I hope you get to do it. Kyle
