Facts about Alexandra: *Population: 4,827(2006) *188 km by road from Dunedin and 33 km south of Cromwell. *The town was founded during the Central Otago gold rush in the 1860s.

For my New Zealand map work the three towns I chose are, Awanui, Alexandra, and Akaroa. I found out a fact about Alexandra the population as of March 2009 4,500.
For my World mapwork I chose Spain. The time there is 11:41:40 and the time here is 18:12. Some facts about Spain are *The capital is Madrid. *The 3 largest cities are Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia. *The population in 2006 was 44.7 million

My Facts: *Akaroa was originally a French settlement which is why the streets in Akaroa have French names.

The Tasmanian devil use to live in the mainland Of, Australia 3000 years ago. No one knows why they moved to Tasmania.
The Tasmanian devil has millions of germs in there mouth so when they bite you they insert a Disease like tumour which has a 62 percent of Killing you....

Alexandra has a giant clock on a hill that you can see from the other end of town! when I went to alexandra to see my nana and grandad we went to the museum and there was grand skinks geting fed grubs and it was so cool!

It is one of the fastest growing rural areas in New Zealand.
I went to Ashburton in the holidays and I have to say it is the warmest place ever in the summer but is F.R.E.E.Z.I.N.G in the winter.
