  1. This artwork post is cool because i think its great to share wonderful work online with others, the only thing that you could add perhaps is some explanation about the art and how it was made! That means you could create a cool piece of procedural writing and then others could do the same thing.

  2. Rm5 co and jp ha done abstracts and vincent van goth paintings. how we did the abstract was by closing ou eyes an drawing, but we were not able to take the pencil of the paper.
The paintings were done by layerind up the paint and we added PVA to make it thicker. ;)

  3. For room 5JP hands we had to think about what symbols would represent us.Then we had to do a draft drawing of our hands in our art books with the symbols on them. After that Miss Paterson told us to go on with our good copy we had to try and make space on the hands and to use different textures with the pencil. You will see in the slideshow what the finshed product looks like.

  4. For the hands we had to think about things we like to do and things we like. Then we had to design symbols that represents them. After that we did a draft of how we wanted it to look. Then we did good copies and used different techniques of shadding and different lines. They ended up looking really cool.

  6. The abstract portraits were done by room5JP and how did we do it?It took a number of drawings but what we did was closed our eyes and tried to draw our faces. Then we coloured each different section a different a colour and the background another colour. After that we trced over every line with a black pastel so every section would stand out. That was how we did our abstract portraits!

  7. For our story hands we had to design different symbols to represent things in our life that are important to us. We traced around our hands (down to our elbows) and then put all our symbols onto it. We had to make all our symbols 'flow' so it didn't look like we had just put things on there randomly. We also used different shading tecniques on our hands to make them look more interesting. After we had finished our good copy we showed Miss Patterson and she put it up on the wall :)

  9. I loved doing this art work it was extremly fun drawing with your eyes shut and seeing how it turned out!!!We did this by shutting our eyes and drawing our faces after that we coloured in all the seprate pieces then we traced the lines in black. It took a while but was worth it in the end!!!

  10. In Room 5JP we were recently learning about abstract portraits, to do this we had to cose out eyes and try to draw our face. It was really fun making them. We had a few giggles here and there and we all had a blast:) The Colours look amazing and the black lines make them stand out even more! Awesome Time Making It.

  13. In room 5jp we design story hands. We traced our hands and then we drew symbols by using different shading techniques and things that reflect on our life, family's and what was important to us.I really enjoyed it,
it took some work but it was well worth it because they came out great and it brought out the creativity in us because we had to really think about what our designs on our symbols
